I played the goty edition wat back when when i had it on cd and it contained more maps and mutators such as the crossbows and the weapons of. so i bought the game and i noticed that not all the goty content is there. The core game remains unchanged, although I believe that the GOTY edition runs version 436 as opposed to the original release's 432. It also packs some optional higher-resolution textures.
